Big news for the all-inclusive App “Visit District of Novese”: by downloading the updated 2022 version can you not only discover what to visit but also what to taste!
The project launched a year ago to help tourists discover the territory between Novese, Alto Monferrato and Val Borbera welcomes a new section dedicated to the food shops and wineries, where the DOC/DOCG and the typical products such as De.co. (Municipal Denomination) are protagonists.
“I am very satisfied with the significant results we achieved so far, investing in the most modern digital systems and enhancing our food and wine companies means emphasizing our local identity in favour of a slow and inclusive tourism we are working on” commented Gian Paolo Cabella, President of the District of Novese.
Inclusiveness and networking have been indeed the strengths of this ambitious project, already winner of the Piedmont Innovation and Development Award in 2020, which has just released, thanks to the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Alessandria and Asti, a new version of the App including a “food and wine special” where food structures and wineries can be called directly by users.
All above is added to what is already present: chance to check the updated calendar of events for each of the 33 municipalities of the District; a guide to discover the 150 artistic attractions, cultural and panoramic points through both a textual story and an audio guide; direct connection with Google maps; usage of the high legibility font EasyReading which facilitate the reading to all, including DSA; implementation of the Google voice system that tells the places to those who have severe visual difficulties.
